Sonja M. Robinson, Ph.D.

Dr. Sonja M. Robinson is an educator, workforce development specialist, and organizational leader with more than 15 years of experience spanning academia, nonprofit management, and corporate training. She holds a Ph.D. in Workforce Education and Development from The Pennsylvania State University and an M.A. in Communication for Social and Behavior Change from the University of the West Indies.

As Country Director for International Samaritan Jamaica, Dr. Robinson leads national operations focused on education, career exploration, wellness, and workforce empowerment for youth and families in under-resourced communities. Her career reflects a commitment to equity, education, and purpose-driven leadership integrating counseling, training, and change management to create transformative learning environments.

A certified Master of Career Services and Facilitating Career Development instructor, Dr. Robinson brings a global and values-based perspective to the Credentialing Commission, advocating for inclusive and culturally responsive career development practices worldwide.
