The Unseen Impact:
Addressing Trauma and Fostering Resilience in Career Development

Friday, September 26, 2025
12:00pm - 1:00pm (Eastern Time)

In this insightful discussion on the crucial intersection of trauma and career development, leading experts will bridge the key topics from two presentations from the 2025 NCDA conference - "Fostering Resiliency in Clients using a Trauma-Informed Approach" and "Infusing Trauma-Informed Care in Career Counseling: Promising Practices and a Framework.” Panelists will share their rich clinical experiences and research expertise to provide a nuanced understanding of how trauma impacts a client's career journey. They will discuss practical strategies for career professionals to assist clients in building resilience, establishing hope, and navigating their professional lives with a trauma-informed lens. This discussion is designed for anyone looking to deepen their understanding of this critical topic and gain actionable insights for their practice.
